Our menus are a collection of eclectic, retro & classic dishes from a by-gone era of gastronomy, creating nostalgia & memories of early restaurant outings. Refined & restored with a modern twist.

The Wild Goose took flight in December 2021 when we opened our doors to the general public. This exciting new restaurant is brought to you by the same team running the very successful Tre Ciccio restaurants in Altrincham and Ramsbottom and the decor has been curated by Homebird.

Our menus are “retro-esque” in style with a modern twist bringing back Anglo-French classics serving an a la carte, featuring dishes such as Classic prawn cocktail, Tuna Niçoise salad, Roast rump of Herdwick lamb & peas a la Francaise & Crème brûlée.

A traditional Sunday lunch menu offers our diners a fixed price menu that includes roast sirloin of Hereford beef, salt chamber dry aged pork & roast Herdwick lamb.

The Wild Goose wine list has been selected by the acclaimed wine ‘guru’ George Bergier, where great wines will be offered at appealing, affordable prices together with classic cocktails, premium draught lager and a fine selection of spirits.

Conveniently located within 10 yards of the Goose Green NCP car park, our restaurant seats up to 80 covers and has an intimate feel, making it the perfect venue for any occasion.
